Description
If you are installing the PetSafe® SmartDoor Connected into metal, glass or a wall, you will need this installation adapter. The adapter minimizes the interference that can occur between the metal door, the key and the sensor that allows access through the SmartDoor. This installation adapter will help you secure your new pet door securely by providing a base to screw into. Door installation may require additional PetSafe® accessories or professional assistance in some cases. The installation adapter comes in two sizes, M and L. The size must match the size of the door you purchased. Please note that only Medium SmartDoor doors can be installed in glass. Consult a glazier for installation in glass.
